I loved living with chickens! It’s been several years since they’ve flitted over my fence, but when a young friend of mine told me about the BIRTHDAY PARTIES she threw for each of her hens on their special day, I just had to go and meet her birds. Jillian hugged Tawni Alice as she walked me around her backyard introducing me to each bird and explaining each of their personalities and their favorite foods. And she told me about the most bazaar parties in the park; they had it all except frilly party dresses.

I wrote and Illustrated ‘Chicken’s In Birthday Suits‘ for all those who have chickens, children, or funny bones. The book is fictionalized just a little but the characters are REAL.
