The book Gracie’s Grandfather Makes Trouble is free as an Amazon eBook starting tomorrow and will remain free for several days. The story is based on Grace, now eight, and John, my husband, but I need to add a few disclaimers.
1. John loves snakes, in fact at one time he bought two to three a week for close to a year!

I was in high school and didn’t at first believe my fellow students. They’d found the secret to life and of getting good grades. You’re not ‘smart’ unless you’re criticizing something or someone.

Then I  played a game from a Family Home Evening Manual in which I was to find seven things we liked about each member of my family every day. I COULD ONLY FIND TWO on the first day, none the second!
My life swung around like a wind sock in a hurricane after playing the game for a few years. To only see the negative ain’t a good secret to life when applied to marriage.
